EZInvest Review

EZInvest offers its clients a choice of several fixed spread account types (which we presented above through the Classic one) and one ECN. All account types provide micro lots for trade, leverage up to 1:200 and commission-free trading. EZInvest is a Cypriot foreign exchange and CFD broker. This is the brand name of WGM Service Ltd, a Financial Services Company authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission (CySEC). The company also owns a binary options brand, EZTrader, launched back in 2008. It is part of the EZTD group, which also operates in Asia through recently-licensed EZInvest Securities Co., based in Japan.

EZTD Inc. is a public company, listed on the NASDAQ.

Security of Funds

Cyprus is one of the most popular forex broker jurisdictions in Europe. CySEC applies certain rules and requirements to Cyprus Investment Firms: they must hold at least €730 000 as a proof of financial stability (the same amount is also required from UK-based brokerages by FCA); in addition, forex brokers must keep customer funds in segregated accounts, separated from the company’s operating funds, and regularly report to CySEC.

Minimum Initial Deposit
In order to open an account with EZInvest, traders have to invest a minimum of $100. Such minimum initial amount is considered average; however, many other Cyprus-based brokers require less. For instance, XM demands just $ 5 from its clients as a start.

Spreads & Commissions
All account types with EZInvest are commission-free and offer both fixed and floating spreads. Fixed ones are high, amounting to 3.0 pips on EUR/USD. Variable spreads, on the other hand, are really tight – averaged 0.6 pips on EUR/USD. They are available on the ECN account with minimum initial deposit $2500.
